A very rocking start to the morning to you people.
How many times have you had negative thoughts that just spiral out of control and can turn what started out to be an awesome day into a shit one? Yep, that was the beginning of my day today. I was at the gym and getting it done, like 365 days of getting it done, and these crappy thoughts began rolling around in my head. WTF?
I pushed through the session and came home to do the morning chores before taking my 2 dogs for their morning walk. With the art of self-awareness, I got grip of myself and start changing my “stinking thinking”. There’s a little mantra I’ve been using for the last few weeks and it is…
I am happy, I am calm and I can do anything
Within a few seconds a smile came to my face and the world was shining in all its glory once again. That says to me if I change the environment from where the negative thoughts began, then I’m more likely to change the thoughts within.
I started this post this morning at 8.12am and it’s now 2.57pm. Through the art of self-awareness, my day has transpired into nothing short of awesome as I’ve continually improved my thoughts throughout the day. My interactions with others have been superb and the overall experience of my day thus far has been outstanding. There is really something to the art of self-awareness.
See you on the road to awesomeness!
